Our photo booth is not something we ordered online. It was thoughtfully designed and built by hand.
The booth began as a collaboration between Trent Stevens, the filmmaker behind Jasper & Oak, and Ventura craftsman Jeff Shulz of Jaws Woodshop. Trent envisioned a photo booth inspired by the timeless lines of vintage film cameras, made with real materials and designed to complement a beautifully curated event. Jeff brought that vision to life, carefully crafting each detail in his Ventura workshop.
The result is more than a machine. Wrapped in solid wood and full of character, the booth is a statement piece that blends old-world craftsmanship with modern technology. Inside, it features a professional camera system, instant prints, and seamless digital sharing. Outside, it feels timeless, making it a natural fit for vineyard weddings, backyard receptions, coastal celebrations, and elegant venues throughout Southern California.
Every rental also includes a friendly on-site attendant, a backdrop selected to suit your celebration, and a curated collection of props that feel stylish rather than silly.

Born as the sister brand to Jasper & Oak, we are a small team of storytellers and craftspeople who approach every photobooth and audio guestbook with intention. Our work is inspired by vintage cameras, natural materials, and memories you can see, hear, and hold in your hands.
